Quality Wholesale Nursery since 1988
Shipping: Please give definite shipping instructions as to how you want your order to be shipped. If no instructions are given, we will ship to the best of our judgement without assuming responsibility.
Transportation: When stock is turned over to the carrier for shipment our responsibility ends. All stock travels at the purchaser's risk. If a shipment is damaged upon arrival, secure proper notation on freight bill and file a claim with the carrier.
CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR FREIGHT CHARGES AT TIME OF DELIVERY AND UNLOADING THE TRUCK. THE DRIVER IS NOT REQUIRED TO DO THE UNLOADING.
If sending your own truck, be sure to supply a covering to protect the plants so they will not be damaged during transit.
- OTHER INFORMATION:
- Upon your shipments arrival be sure to count all pieces. If Bill of Lading does not agree, indicate shortage or overage on the Bill of Lading before signing.
- Broken or Damaged Material MUST be indicated on the Bill of Lading.
- Be sure that the nursery stock is unloaded and handled properly by lifting by the root ball and containers, NOT by the tops of the plants. This will prevent damage.
- WATER MERCHANDISE IMMEDIATELY UPON UNLOADING. Plants have not been watered since loaded.
- Quality problems MUST be reported to Boyd & Boyd Nursery within 48 hours of receipt of the material.
- DO NOT REFUSE TO UNLOAD THE TRUCK! If there is a serious problem and you question the merchandise, call Boyd & Boyd Nursery at (931)934-2613 immediately, but DO NOT refuse the shipment.
We wish you a very successful season and hope you will contact us for all your tree and shrub needs.
